From his humble beginnings as a Midwestern paperboy, Rob Perkins never dreamed that decades later he’d be one of Hollywood’s go-to Producers of commercials and other video content.
The spark of Rob’s ingenuity and work ethic was evident even when he was an industrious preteen mowing lawns and washing cars in Waterford Township, Michigan. At age 11, he got his first paper route; within a year, he tripled the size of his route by buying out other paper boys. By age 14, he had saved enough money to buy his own ski boat to take his friends water skiing.
Rob went on to college at Michigan State University, where he studied telecommunications and played trumpet in the Spartan Marching Band. After college, he found his entree into the world of entertainment as an on-air radio personality. He soon became the youngest professional DJ at a commercial station in East Lansing, Michigan’s Capital City.
